Experienced Receptionist

21 Pilates NYC is looking for an experienced receptionist. Our boutique studio is located in Midtown, Manhattan in the heart of the Garment District.

Receptionists: aid studio functionality from sales to Instructors and more. Candidates MUST have background and experience in customer service and sales. A passion for Pilates is always a plus!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience working in reception/customer service/sales position
  • Strong focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Ability to sell memberships, retail, private packages, class packages, introductory packages, etc.
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat

DUTIES

  • Maintain and sanitize all equipment after each class, shift equipment for certain classes and organize the Pilates Studio, vacuum, organize studio props
  • Enforce 21 Pilates NYC policies and procedures
  • Any other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part Time

  • Weekends

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, sitting at front desk, moving equipment to set up classes, cleaning equipment after every class, inventory, overall Operations of the studio

Schedule:

  • Holidays required
  • Weekends required
  • Monday to Sat availability

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
