Accountant (International Law Firm)

<p>Accountant – International Law Firm Location: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 18,000–20,000 per month The Opportunity Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Dubai finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong end-to-end accounting experience to support the day-to-day financial operations of a busy professional services environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and the smooth running of the finance function. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger reconciliations and month-end close. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Process payroll and employee expense claims. Ensure VAT and tax compliance in line with UAE regulations. Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Produce financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls. Requirements Minimum 5–7 years' accounting experience, ideally within a professional services environment. Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle from transactional accounting through to month-end reporting. Experience preparing management accounts, reconciliations and financial reports. Good understanding of UAE VAT and tax regulations. Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is advantageous.
