Role Description The Administrative Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karak District.

The Administrative

Assistant will provide daily administrative and clerical support, including managing correspondence, organizing files and records, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies. This role will handle phone calls and visitor inquiries, ensure proper documentation and data entry, and support the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications.

Assistant will also assist project and management teams with logistical arrangements, coordination of internal events, and other assigned administrative tasks to help ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills to support day-to-day office operations and team coordination.
  • Effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to manage calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally.
<lisolid clerical skills, including filing, data entry, record keeping, and document preparation.< li>
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office suite), basic data management, and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the nonprofit or humanitarian sector, is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
