<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented <strong>BIM Mechanical Modeler</strong> with strong experience in developing accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready mechanical BIM models. The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery, supporting mechanical design and construction teams throughout all project stages — from design development and coordination to construction documentation and as-built updates.</p><p>The role requires a technically proficient and proactive individual with strong knowledge of <strong>Revit MEP, mechanical systems, BIM coordination, and construction documentation</strong>. The candidate should be comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring high-quality, accurate, and coordinated mechanical model outputs.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain accurate <strong>mechanical BIM models</strong> using Revit MEP across various project stages.</li><li>Model and coordinate <strong>HVAC, ductwork, chilled water, piping, ventilation, equipment, and other mechanical systems</strong> in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, electrical engineers, plumbing teams, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate design information into coordinated BIM models.</li><li>Prepare detailed <strong>mechanical drawings, layouts, sections, schedules, and construction documentation</strong> directly from BIM models.</li><li>Create and modify <strong>Revit families</strong> for mechanical equipment, fittings, accessories, and other project-specific components.</li><li>Ensure model accuracy, data integrity, naming conventions, worksets, parameters, and model organization comply with project BIM standards and the <strong>BIM Execution Plan (BEP)</strong>.</li><li>Participate in <strong>clash detection and BIM coordination</strong> using Navisworks and Revit, identifying and resolving clashes between mechanical and other building systems.</li><li>Coordinate ductwork, piping, equipment, ceiling spaces, shafts, plant rooms, risers, and service zones to ensure constructability and efficient installation.</li><li>Review engineering drawings and specifications and translate design information into accurate 3D mechanical models.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of <strong>shop drawings, fabrication drawings, builders-work drawings, coordinated layouts, and installation documentation</strong> where required.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants and contractors to incorporate design changes, RFIs, site conditions, and approved revisions into the BIM model.</li><li>Support the preparation, management, and submission of BIM deliverables in accordance with project schedules and requirements.</li><li>Conduct model quality checks and ensure that mechanical models are free from errors, inconsistencies, and coordination issues.</li><li>Maintain model revisions and update models based on approved design changes and site information.</li><li>Assist with the preparation of <strong>as-built and record models</strong> based on construction information.</li><li>Support the development and continuous improvement of BIM standards, modeling procedures, templates, families, and workflows.</li><li>Manage multiple tasks and project deadlines efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM modelers when required.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in <strong>Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field</strong>.</li><li>Minimum <strong>3+ years of professional experience as a BIM Mechanical Modeler</strong> in a multidisciplinary design, engineering, or construction environment.</li><li>Strong proficiency in <strong>Autodesk Revit MEP</strong>, particularly mechanical modeling, documentation, families, and system coordination.</li><li>Good working knowledge of <strong>HVAC and mechanical building services</strong>, including ductwork, chilled water systems, ventilation, mechanical piping, and equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Navisworks Manage</strong> for clash detection, coordination, and model review is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>BIM standards, BEP requirements, model coordination, naming conventions, LOD, and information management</strong>.</li><li>Good understanding of mechanical construction drawings, detailing, specifications, and installation requirements.</li><li>Experience coordinating mechanical systems with <strong>architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines</strong>.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation.</li><li>Experience with <strong>shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation</strong> is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant international standards and project-specific BIM requirements is preferred.</li><li>Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality BIM outputs within project deadlines.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced knowledge of <strong>Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage</strong>.</li><li>Experience with large-scale <strong>commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, or industrial projects</strong>.</li><li>Experience in BIM coordination and resolving multidisciplinary clashes.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>Dynamo, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC</strong>, or other BIM-related software is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>LOD 300/350/400 modeling requirements</strong> and construction-level BIM deliverables.</li><li>Understanding of mechanical equipment schedules, duct and pipe sizing information, and coordinated service
