Building Permit Auditor - Structural Integrity

Abu Dhabi Municipality, operating under the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), is seeking a highly analytical, visionary, and technically elite Building Permit Auditor to join our Building Regulations division. You will serve as a critical technical authority within the capital's civic administration, tasked with executing complex structural audits, enforcing the Abu Dhabi International Building Code (ADIBC), and ensuring that all major developments align strictly with Estidama sustainability standards.Qualifications: Candidates must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited, globally recognized university. You must have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven corporate or government experience in building permit processing, structural design auditing, or municipal regulation enforcement. Deep technical expertise in the Abu Dhabi International Building Code (ADIBC) and Estidama Pearl Rating System is strictly required. Active Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP) status is highly preferred. Absolute fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory for processing classified government permit data and cross-agency reporting.Physical & Security Criteria: The role requires high mental stamina to navigate complex bureaucratic approval processes, manage strict municipal KPIs, and conduct occasional physical site inspections across active urban development zones in Abu Dhabi.
