Business Intelligence Analyst - Power BI (secret clearance)

<p><strong>We are seeking a BI Analyst with proven experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).</strong> The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence tools to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. <strong>This role requires a strong understanding of Power BI and related data science methodologies. <em>Active Secret clearance is required.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>This is a 100% remote position, however candidates must reside in one of the following states: (</em>MD, VA, DC, OH, NC, FL, CO, or WV).</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and implement data models and dashboards using Power BI and similar tools.</li><li>Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with mission objectives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with DoD security and data handling standards.</li><li>Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and scalability.</li><li>Communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>US Citizenship (mandatory)</li><li>Active Secret Clearance (mandatory).</li><li>Security+ Certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with the DoD or in a defense-related environment.</li><li>Certification in Data Science or Business Intelligence, preferably:</li><li>Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or similar.</li><li>Proficiency in:</li><li>Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)</li><li>SQL and relational databases</li><li>Data cleaning and transformation techniques</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Python or R for data analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and secure environments.</li><li>Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and predictive analytics.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li><strong>No Bachelor’s Degree required</strong>; equivalent experience and certifications accepted.</li></ul><p><br></p>
