Santa’s Elf at Festival Place Shopping Centre, Basingstoke

Join our Grotto team as a Christmas Elf and you'll play a vital role in making every child feel special.

The role is creating a magical Christmas for families by interacting with children & portraying yourself as a real Elf from Santa’s Village.

You arrived from the North Pole this morning. And, you’re going back tonight to eat cookies and make presents!

Presentation on Role:

Elf Duties

  • Welcome each family
  • Portray a real Elf from the North Pole
  • Engage every child when they arrive
  • Introduce children to Santa by name
  • Take two photos of every family
  • Restock Santa’s sacks

You be part of a team of Elves, led by your Grotto Manager.

  • Full training provided
  • Personal costumes provided
  • Wages paid fortnightly

What Shifts are Available:

  • Full & part time shifts available
  • Days range from 5-7 hours
  • Broadly we open weekends in November, then every day in December
  • During your interview, we ask you when you are available

  • Friendly & enthusiastic personality
  • Good with children & families
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Comfortable in costume and able to stay cheerful all day!

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
