CNC CAD/CAM Programmer & Machinist

We are looking for an experienced CNC CAD/CAM Programmer & Machinist with strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, CAD/CAM design, programming, machine setup, and production.

The ideal candidate must be able to handle the complete manufacturing process — starting from designing a part from scratch, preparing the machining program and G-code, setting up the CNC machine, and producing the final finished component accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up CNC milling and machining machines.
  • Design mechanical parts and components from scratch based on drawings, samples, measurements, or production requirements.
  • Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Prepare CNC machining programs using professional CAD/CAM software.
  • Generate, review, edit, and optimize G-code and M-code.
  • Create and optimize CNC toolpaths.
  • Select the correct cutting tools, end mills, drills, fixtures, and machining strategies.
  • Determine appropriate spindle speeds, feed rates, cutting depths, and machining parameters.
  • Perform machine setup, tool setup, workpiece clamping, and work-zero setting.
  • Conduct test runs and first-piece machining before full production.
  • Manufacture parts according to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machining, programming, tooling, and surface-finish problems.
  • Optimize programs to improve machining time, tool life, accuracy, and surface quality.
  • Perform basic CNC machine maintenance and ensure machines are operated safely.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of practical CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC Milling and multi-axis machining is highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
  • Strong experience with CAD/CAM software such as:
  • Fusion 360
  • Mastercam
  • SolidWorks
  • PowerMill
  • AutoCAD
  • or equivalent professional CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability to design a component from scratch and convert the design into a complete CNC machining program.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
  • Experience machining aluminum parts is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of different aluminum grades, cutting tools, machining parameters, and surface-finish requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as digital calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Strong understanding of machining accuracy, tolerances, tooling, fixtures, and production quality.

We Are Looking for a Complete CNC Specialist

This position is not for a CNC Operator only.

The candidate must be capable of independently handling the complete workflow:

Part Concept / Sample → CAD Design → 3D Model → CAM Programming → Toolpath → G-Code → CNC Setup → Machining → Measurement → Final Finished Part

The successful candidate should be practical, technically skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of solving machining and production problems independently.

Priority will be given to candidates with strong practical experience in CNC machining, aluminum component manufacturing, CAD/CAM programming, and precision production.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
