Communications Writer - Corporate & Internal Relations, Entry Level

About the Role

We're looking for an entry-level communications writer to support internal and external communication efforts across all company divisions and locations. You'll help develop and distribute communications that build a consistent, professional corporate image - from employee announcements and newsletters to website content and social media posts.

In this role, you'll gather information from different departments, write engaging content, assist with media monitoring, help maintain our digital platforms, and support our communications leadership with special projects and events. You'll also help coordinate photography, video, and graphic content, and review materials for accuracy and quality before they go public.

What You'll Do

• Develop and help distribute internal and external communications, including employee announcements, newsletters, website content, and social media posts• Gather information from departments and locations to create accurate, timely, and engaging content• Help maintain and update corporate websites, intranets, social media platforms, and other digital communication channels• Support the development of employee newsletters - coordinating content, drafting articles, organizing photos, and helping with distribution• Assist with creating presentations, graphics, signage, and other communication materials for corporate and site-level initiatives• Help ensure brand standards and visual identity are consistent across all communication materials• Work with departments to support their communication needs and ensure information is clear and accurate• Support communications related to company programmes, community involvement, employee activities, and business accomplishments• Help coordinate photography, video, graphics, and other visual content for company communication channels• Assist with tracking how well our communications are performing (website traffic, social media engagement, etc.)• Proofread and review materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and overall quality• Support communications leadership with special projects, events, and media-related activities as needed

Skills/background needed

• Experience or demonstrated ability in professional writing, speaking, and presentations• Experience or demonstrated ability in business and product marketing• Experience or demonstrated ability in project management and implementation• Experience or demonstrated ability in website design, operation, and maintenance• Experience or demonstrated ability in social media content creation and graphic design• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Excellent writing, grammar, and public speaking skills• Comfortable with computer operation and managing multiple tasks• Familiarity with social media management• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is helpful but not essential• Basic experience with photo/video editing and image editing is helpful• Basic experience with internet and webpage creation/editing is helpful• Bachelor's degree in Design, Journalism, Project Management, or a related field
