The Role

We are seeking an experienced Content Creator / Social Media Assistant to support content creation, social-media management, audience engagement, and digital campaigns across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate is creative, digitally savvy, organized, and comfortable creating written, visual, and short-form video content while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing social-media content calendars across relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging captions, posts, stories, short-form videos, reels, graphics, and other digital content.
  • Research trending topics, hashtags, formats, sounds, audience interests, and relevant industry conversations.
  • Support content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and other appropriate channels.
  • Adapt content to different platforms, audiences, formats, and communication objectives.
  • Assist with photography, basic video recording, editing, graphic design, and content production.
  • Schedule and publish approved content using social-media management and scheduling tools.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience interactions and respond professionally where appropriate.
  • Support community management and help build positive relationships with followers and online audiences.
  • Coordinate with marketing, design, sales, PR, events, and creative teams to maintain consistent brand messaging.
  • Assist with influencer, creator, partnership, promotional, and campaign activities.
  • Research competitors and monitor their content, engagement strategies, campaigns, and market positioning.
  • Track content performance, engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, and other relevant social-media metrics.
  • Prepare basic weekly or monthly social-media performance reports and recommendations.
  • Identify high-performing content and suggest opportunities for repurposing or improvement.
  • Maintain organized content libraries, creative assets, captions, campaign materials, and publishing schedules.
  • Assist with website, blog, email, promotional, and other digital-content projects when required.
  • Ensure all published content follows brand guidelines, approval processes, copyright requirements, and privacy standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging social-media trends, platform updates, content formats, and digital marketing best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in content creation, social-media management, digital marketing, communications, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of major social-media platforms and current content trends.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Creative eye for visual content, storytelling, branding, and audience engagement.
  • Experience creating short-form videos, social graphics, captions, and other digital assets.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or equivalent content-creation tools.
  • Experience with social-media scheduling, analytics, CRM, CMS, or digital-marketing platforms.
  • Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant trends and content opportunities.
  • Good understanding of engagement metrics, reach, impressions, conversion, and social-media performance.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple content tasks, deadlines, campaigns, and platforms simultaneously.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, influencer marketing, paid social, or digital advertising is advantageous.
  • Marketing, content, social-media, or digital-communications certifications are advantageous but not required.
