Data Analyst – Excel and Tableau Intern

Job Summary

EY is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Tableau. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
  • Use Excel to perform data analysis, create pivot tables, charts, and dashboards for reporting purposes.
  • Design and develop Tableau dashboards to visualize insights effectively and support data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Assist in preparing regular analytical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights in complex datasets to support business objectives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the analysis process.
  • Support senior analysts and consultants in data modeling and predictive analytics initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation, VLOOKUP, charts).
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database management concepts is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates or students currently pursuing a degree in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior internship or coursework experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours, typically Monday to Friday.
  • Option for remote or hybrid working, depending on project requirements.
  • Approximately 20–30 hours per week, based on academic schedule and internship duration.
