Exhibition Stand Production Foreman

Urban Display is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Foreman to oversee the production and fabrication of exhibition stands. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and hands-on experience in managing workshop teams, ensuring quality control, and meeting project deadlines. This position is crucial in ensuring seamless execution of stand-building projects while maintaining efficiency and high standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the production team, including carpenters, painters, and electricians, ensuring quality output and adherence to project timelines.
  • Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring that all exhibition stands are produced according to specifications and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with the design and project management teams to ensure smooth workflow from design approval to production and installation.
  • Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor work progress to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure high standards in craftsmanship, finishing, and structural integrity.
  • Train and mentor team members, including daily 15-minute training sessions, and groom at least two carpenters for senior positions.
  • Manage and optimize material usage, ensuring cost control and minimal wastage.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, and machinery.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in exhibition stand production or a related industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in materials, construction techniques, and fabrication processes for exhibition stands.
  • Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively with different teams and ensure clear instructions are given.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to high-quality production with a keen eye for detail.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in an exhibition stand-building company is highly desirable.
