Fresh Food Section Manager - Retail Division

Spinneys, the Middle East's premier grocery and FMCG retailer, is seeking a highly resilient, operationally exceptional Fresh Food Section Manager to join our massive retail division in the UAE. You will serve as the primary operational leader for a high-footfall fresh food department (including bakery, deli, and butchery), responsible for orchestrating complex cold-chain inventory logistics, managing strict visual merchandising standards, leading a multi-cultural workforce of specialized culinary and retail staff, and ensuring absolute adherence to aggressive commercial targets and stringent municipal health regulations.Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or formal Diploma in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Retail Management, or a highly related field. A minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven, high-performance experience in high-volume fresh food management, premium supermarket operations, or large-scale F&B environments within the GCC is strictly required. Absolute mastery of retail P&L management, perishable inventory cost control (shrinkage reduction), and rigorous food safety (HACCP) protocols is mandatory. Exceptional leadership and crisis management skills are essential to manage high-pressure, daily customer throughput. Fluency in English is required; operational proficiency in Arabic or Hindi is highly advantageous.Physical & Security Criteria: The role requires exceptional physical stamina and psychological resilience for managing high-stress logistics out of active retail floors and overseeing dynamic shift rotations during intense promotional and holiday seasons.
