About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Finance Director to lead financial management and strategic finance activities across the organization.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished finance professional with strong experience in financial planning, reporting, risk management, budgeting, and business strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance, support international operations, and ensure strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global finance and accounting operations across multiple markets.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash-flow management.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Monitor financial performance, profitability, costs, and key business indicators.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies.
  • Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Identify financial risks and implement effective risk-management strategies.
  • Drive cost optimization and improve financial efficiency across the organization.
  • Support strategic investments, business expansion, and major commercial decisions.
  • Establish and improve financial controls, policies, systems, and processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across different functions and locations.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support long-term business growth.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, or financial leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of international financial operations and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex financial matters across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and international environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA , or equivalent is highly advantageous.
  • Significant senior-level experience in finance or accounting leadership.
  • Experience managing regional or global finance operations is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting/ERP systems.
  • Experience with international accounting standards and financial reporting is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are considered a plus.
