Graduate Engineer

<p>With continued growth, KDC are pleased to be able to offer Graduate Engineer roles within the Aerospace and Marine sectors out of our Bristol office.</p><p><br></p><p>The Graduate Engineer is a direct entry role aligned with any of the following selected engineering disciplines:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Structural Design</li><li>Structural Analysis</li><li>Systems Engineering</li></ul><p><br></p><p>As such the role will be associated with a project team to support delivery of engineering projects whilst offering a structured development plan including support to becoming to a Chartered Engineer. The development plan will be aimed at building up a detailed working knowledge of the chosen engineering discipline as well as an appreciation of other disciplines. A collaborative and right first-time attitude together with a strong team ethic is expected.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Roles and Responsibilities:</u></p><ul><li>Under instruction from the Team Leader or Senior Engineer, complete work as required, in line with KDC Projects quality management procedures and processes</li><li>Undertaking training as required and driving own Personal Development Plan</li><li>Work to required quality and technical standards within reasonable pre-determined timescales</li><li>Ensure that a good understanding of all work undertaken is developed, asking questions and seeking support from mentors and Senior Engineers</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>Essential Skills and Experience</u></p><ul><li>Degree in an Engineering discipline</li><li>Thorough and logical attention to detail</li><li>Good Inter-personal skills</li><li>Eye for detail and good problem solver</li><li>Quick learner and self-motivated</li><li>Preferably completed a year in industry in the relevant discipline</li><li>If Design: Working Knowledge of CAD Software</li><li>If Analysis: Working knowledge and experience with FEA</li><li>If Systems: Working knowledge of Simulink/MATLAB or synthetic environments</li><li>Software automation</li><li>Efficient Report Writing</li></ul>
