<p><strong>Head- Logistics</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Dubai, UAE</p><p><strong>Industry:</strong> FMCG / Retail</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven <strong>Head – Logistics</strong> to lead end-to-end logistics and distribution centre operations for a leading FMCG/Retail business in GCC.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the <strong>end-to-end operations of distribution centres and logistics functions</strong>, ensuring high service levels, efficiency, and operational discipline.</li><li>Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with business growth and customer requirements.</li><li>Oversee <strong>warehouse operations, order fulfilment, picking, packing, dispatch, receiving, and inventory management</strong>.</li><li>Manage transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.</li><li>Drive <strong>warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, space utilisation, and process optimisation</strong>.</li><li>Establish and monitor KPIs covering OTIF, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, productivity, delivery performance, cost per case/order, and warehouse utilisation.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement, automation, WMS optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with <strong>HSE, food safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards</strong>.</li><li>Manage operating budgets, logistics costs, manpower planning, and capital expenditure.</li><li>Build, coach, and lead high-performing logistics and warehouse teams.</li><li>Partner closely with <strong>Sales, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain</strong> teams to ensure seamless operations.</li><li>Identify operational risks and implement robust contingency and business continuity plans.</li><li>Drive a culture of accountability, customer service, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.</li></ul><p>Candidate Profile</p><ul><li><strong>14 + years of progressive experience</strong> in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations, preferably within <strong>FMCG, retail, food & beverage, or a high-volume consumer business</strong>.</li><li>Proven experience managing <strong>large-scale distribution centres and multi-site operations</strong>.</li><li>Strong track record in warehouse and transportation optimisation, cost reduction, and service-level improvement.</li><li>Experience with <strong>WMS/ERP systems, warehouse automation, inventory control, and data-driven operational management</strong>.</li><li>Strong commercial and financial understanding, including budgeting and cost management.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading large multicultural teams.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li><li><strong>UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.</strong></li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. A relevant professional qualification is an advantage.</li></ul><p></p>
