HR Advisor – Doha

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a major international organisation based in the Middle East. They are seeking a Qatari HR Advisor to join their team in Doha, Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring that the organisation’s compliance with Qatari labour laws and that all company HR policies are applied consistently

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, non-executive bonus plans, guidelines, and procedures

  • Creating a compensation strategy in line with Qatari and regional markets

  • Organising the salary planning process

  • Investigating any employee issues and conflicts and bringing them to a resolution

  • Using performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team

  • Maintaining the company’s organisation charts and their employee directory

  • Maintaining HR systems and processes

PROFILE

  • At least 7 years’ experience in Human Resources in a Shared Services role

  • History of managing and executing compensation & benefits programmes

  • Excellent knowledge of local Qatari employment laws and procedures, with a strong background of working in the country

  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Arabic

  • Due to our client’s ongoing commitment to Qatarization, our client’s first preference is to interview Qatari nationals for this opportunity
