Position OverviewInternal Communications Specialist - Operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a creative Logistics and Supply Chain opportunity for a communications professional who can build strong internal engagement across Amazon MEATR Operations. This role supports communication campaigns, associate engagement, leadership messaging, channel performance, localization, storytelling, and critical updates across customer fulfillment and transportation operations in the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa region.Location & CompensationLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesSalary: 18,000-30,000 (estimated range; final offer to be confirmed)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute internal communication plans for Amazon MEATR Operations, covering fulfillment, transportation, and related operational teams.Support communication campaigns that bring regional operations stories to life and improve engagement across associates and employees.Prepare clear messaging for new programs, policy updates, organizational changes, operational priorities, and leadership announcements.Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations leaders, site teams, and regional partners to gather information and shape communication activity.Manage internal communication channels and monitor their performance using data, metrics, and engagement emerging topics, employee concerns, business trends, operational issues, and communication gaps, then develop timely response plans.Partner with site stakeholders during issues, crises, emergency moments, and critical business periods to support accurate and consistent with translation agencies to ensure communication materials are localized correctly for associates across the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa region.Integrate Amazon's business values, Leadership Principles, and strategic initiatives into everyday internal scalable communication mechanisms that simplify repeated messaging, improve consistency, and support regional execution.Coordinate with external agencies, creative partners, or internal teams to manage communication assets, content production, and delivery timelines.Support storytelling that highlights operational achievements, employee experiences, customer impact, and leadership priorities.Use analytics to measure communication effectiveness and recommend improvements to format, channel mix, timing, and message clarity.Oversee content quality across written updates, visual materials, videos, site-level communication, and digital communication channels.Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a clear and professional manner.Ideal ProfileBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.Professional experience in communications, internal communications, public relations, corporate communications, or employee engagement.Experience managing external agencies, translation partners, creative vendors, or communication production support.Strong ability to measure communication effectiveness using data, analytics, channel metrics, and employee engagement with content management systems, design tools, and video production oversight.Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to communicate confidently with senior leadership, operations teams, site leaders, and front-line employee groups.Experience working in ecommerce, retail, supply chain, logistics, financial services, or a large operational business is preferred.Arabic language fluency in speaking, reading, and writing is preferred.Turkish language fluency in speaking, reading, and writing is preferred.Experience supporting workplace violence communication, emergency response, crisis management, or business continuity practices is an advantage.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple countries, functions, and operational priorities.Creative mindset with strong attention to detail, message accuracy, tone, localization, and audience relevance.Ability to work in a fast-moving environment while managing multiple campaigns, deadlines, and communication requests.Skills SetInternal communicationsPublic RelationsEmployee engagementOperations communicationsCorporate communicationsCommunications planningCampaign executionStorytellingLeadership messagingAssociate communicationCommunication channel managementChannel performance analysisContent management systemsDesign toolsVideo production oversightCommunication analyticsMetrics reportingCrisis communicationEmergency response communicationBusiness continuity communicationLocalizationTranslation agency coordinationArabic languageTurkish languageStakeholder managementAgency managementContent planningWritten communicationVerbal communicationSenior leadership communicationEcommerce operationsRetail operationsSupply chain operationsFulfillment operationsTransportation servicesProcess simplificationReg
