Internship - Frontend Developer

About the role

This Internship - Frontend Developer position supports a significant Dubai-based investment mandate by translating complex financial data into clear, functional interfaces. We require a disciplined individual to assist in developing internal tools that help our principals form a view on portfolio performance. This role is essential for ensuring that our digital touchpoints reflect the same rigor and clarity we provide in our advisory work.

About Arabian Private Holdings

Arabian Private Holdings was founded on the principle that many critical business problems do not fit the traditional large-firm consulting model. A board facing a succession question or a family group weighing a capital injection does not need a team of twelve associates and a hundred-page methodology deck. They need experienced partners who can sit with a problem, form a rigorous view, and defend it.

We take on a limited number of mandates to ensure that every client receives direct attention from the principals who are actually accountable for the outcome. Our work covers corporate strategy, governance, and operating model efficiency for some of the most significant family groups, listed corporations, and government entities in the region. We focus on clarity over complexity.

We operate as a remote firm, choosing to prioritize the quality of our analysis and the strength of our relationships over traditional office overhead or aggressive growth targets.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain web-based interfaces for tracking investment metrics and financial data.
  • Convert technical requirements into clean, semantic code using modern frontend frameworks.
  • Collaborate with principals to understand how data needs to be visualized for board-level reviews.
  • Ensure all internal tools are responsive and functional across different devices used by our remote team.
  • Debug and fix frontend issues to maintain a consistent and reliable user experience.
  • Document code and technical processes clearly to ensure long-term maintenance is straightforward.
  • Support the development of reporting dashboards used for high-stakes decision making in a Dubai-based investment context.
  • Assist in testing new features to ensure they meet the firm standards for performance and accuracy.
What we are looking for

  • Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with at least one frontend framework, such as React or Vue.
  • An ability to write clean, organized, and readable code that others can follow.
  • A strong eye for detail and an interest in logical, clutter-free interface design.
  • The capacity to communicate technical ideas clearly in plain English.
  • A disciplined approach to working independently in a fully remote setting.
  • Basic understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
How we work

We operate as a fully remote firm, valuing the quality of our analysis and the strength of our relationships over physical office presence. Our model is built on autonomy and direct accountability, where interns work closely with principals to learn how technical work supports broader corporate strategy. We avoid unnecessary meetings and corporate bloat, preferring concise written communication and high-quality results.

Mentorship here involves real-world exposure to complex governance and operating model challenges, framed through the lens of technical problem-solving. This full-time internship is a paid position, offering competitive compensation that is attractive for the current market and the specific responsibilities involved.

What the role offers

  • Attractive and competitive pay for an entry-level internship.
  • A fully remote working arrangement that allows for geographic flexibility.
  • Direct exposure to the decision-making processes of a principal-led advisory firm.
  • A chance to build tools that have a tangible contribution to a major Dubai-based investment project.
  • Mentorship from experienced partners who value clarity, logic, and technical precision.
  • A professional environment that prioritizes substance and results over traditional corporate hierarchy.
