Laboratory Technician – Research

<p>RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) is hiring a Research Laboratory Technician in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, where you will join a leading health sciences university in the Emirates. Moreover, this role offers a collaborative academic environment and strong opportunities for professional growth.</p> <h3>Research Laboratory Technician role overview</h3> <p>A <u>Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Animal Science</u>, Biomedical Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.</p> <p>A minimum of 2-6 years of hands-on experience in laboratory animal facilities or preclinical research settings is required.</p> <p>The candidate should be capable of supporting interdisciplinary biomedical research activities, including animal handling, colony management, drug administration, and biological sample collection. They will assist in surgical procedures and support laboratory operations, including basic histopathological techniques and the use of research equipment. The candidate is also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring adherence to research protocols.</p> <p>The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of research ethics, laboratory safety, and quality control practices.
