<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Sustainability Risk Assessment</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct sustainability risk assessments for lending and financing transactions.</li><li>Review environmental, social, climate and nature-related risks associated with clients and projects.</li><li>Support credit teams by providing sustainability risk analysis and recommendations.</li><li>Identify material ESG risks that may impact borrower performance or credit quality.</li><li>Escalate significant sustainability and reputational risks where appropriate.</li><li>Maintain sustainability risk assessment records and supporting documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Credit Risk Integration</strong></p><ul><li>Support integration of sustainability considerations into credit assessment processes.</li><li>Assist with development of sector-specific sustainability risk guidance.</li><li>Review borrower transition plans and climate-related commitments.</li><li>Monitor sustainability-related covenants and financing commitments.</li><li>Work with Credit Risk teams to improve sustainability risk assessment methodologies.</li></ul><p><strong>Climate Risk & Financed Emissions</strong></p><ul><li>Calculate and monitor financed emissions using methodologies from the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials.</li><li>Support collection and validation of emissions and sustainability data.</li><li>Conduct financed emissions analysis and portfolio reporting.</li><li>Support climate scenario analysis and portfolio alignment assessments.</li><li>Track progress against emissions reduction targets.</li></ul><p><strong>Nature & Biodiversity Risk</strong></p><ul><li>Assess nature-related risks and dependencies across financing portfolios.</li><li>Support implementation of recommendations from the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures.</li><li>Analyze biodiversity, water, land-use and ecosystem-related risks.</li><li>Support development of nature-related risk metrics and reporting.</li></ul><p><strong>Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor sustainability risk exposures across portfolios.</li><li>Analyze sector, geography and client-level sustainability risk trends.</li><li>Develop dashboards and management information reports.</li><li>Prepare reports for sustainability and risk governance committees.</li><li>Support regulatory, investor and internal sustainability reporting requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Governance & Controls</strong></p><ul><li>Support implementation of sustainability risk policies, frameworks and procedures.</li><li>Assist with governance committee administration and reporting.</li><li>Monitor compliance with sustainability-related requirements and controls.</li><li>Support internal audits, assurance reviews and regulatory examinations.</li><li>Track sustainability-related regulatory developments and market practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with Credit Risk, Relationship Management, Sustainability and Compliance teams.</li><li>Provide sustainability risk guidance and training to business stakeholders.</li><li>Support engagement with external consultants, auditors and industry bodies.</li><li>Contribute to sustainability initiatives and projects across the Bank.</li></ul><p><br></p>
