Furthermore, this is a rewarding opportunity within one of the UAE’s largest healthcare providers.</p> <h2>About the Medical Transcriptionist role</h2> <p>The Medical Transcriptionist position with NMC Healthcare in the UAE is a strong opportunity for committed professionals. It keeps clinical and administrative services running smoothly for patients. Moreover, NMC invests in training, safety and long-term career growth.</p> <p>Performing document typing and formatting functions according to an established format. Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results, operative reports, referral letters, other documents and assisting designated department for administrative work.</p> <p>3.1 Interpret and transcribe a variety of medical reports and correspondence regarding patients’ assessment, work-up, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnoses, prognosis, etc. in order to document and facilitate delivery of healthcare.<br /> 3.2 Operate and utilize designated word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment as directed to complete assignments.<br /> 3.3 Meet the required efficiency set by the doctors/department.<br /> 3.4 Provide quality transcription by the use of proper resources and proofreading of own work.<br /> 3.5 Ensure the confidentiality of the contents of the reports transcribed.<br /> 3.6 Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills, including English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style.<br /> 3.7 Assisting and Coordinating for department admin work.<br /> 3.8 Work under pressure with time constraints.<br /> 3.9 Follow department’s/doctors’ formats in doing reports.<br /> 3.10 Understand diverse accents and varying dictation styles.<br /> 3.11 Good eye, hand and auditory coordination.</p> <p>4.1 High School Level or its equivalent<br /> 4.2 Qualification: Graduate<br /> 4.3 Experience: At least 2 years as Medical Transcriptionist.<br /> 4.4 Skill set: Ability to transcribe medical/audio files with 100% quality.<br /> 4.5 Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory</p> <h2>About NMC Healthcare in the UAE</h2> <p>NMC Healthcare is one of the largest private healthcare networks in the UAE, operating hospitals and medical centres nationwide.
