The ideal candidate will be responsible for studying microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, to understand their impact on health, safety, and the environment. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Conduct Research**: Carry out experiments to study microorganisms and their properties, helping to develop new products or improve existing ones.- **Analyze Samples**: Collect and analyze samples from various sources, such as water, soil, and food, to detect microbial contamination and assess quality.- **Develop Protocols**: Create and refine laboratory procedures for testing and identifying microorganisms, ensuring accuracy and reliability in results.- **Maintain Lab Equipment**: Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, facilitating efficient research processes.- **Document Findings**: Prepare detailed reports of research findings, including charts and graphs, to communicate results to team members and stakeholders.**Required Skills and Expectations:**The ideal candidate should have a degree in microbiology or a related field, with 3 to 9 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.
