Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Lead 2

Job Description
Lead Consultant — Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional (Finance)
Experience: 10+ years  |  Level: Senior / Lead  |  Function: Enterprise Applications — Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Lead with 10+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to lead the techno-functional stream of our Oracle Fusion program, with a primary focus on the Finance modules. The role carries end-to-end ownership — from shaping business requirements and functional design through technical build, deployment, and post-implementation change — and is central to driving both the ongoing Fusion implementation and the continuous evolution of the live estate.
The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Fusion Financials product knowledge with strong technical delivery capability, is self-driven, and can independently drive and close deliverables with minimal supervision while guiding developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders. A broader understanding of Oracle AI capabilities for Fusion Applications, including AI Agent Studio (Fusion AI Studio), is a distinct advantage as we embed AI-led automation across Finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the techno-functional design and delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management) and Procurement, owning solutions from requirement through production.
  • Drive the Fusion implementation roadmap and post-implementation change portfolio — enhancements, quarterly release adoption, regression testing, and controlled deployments.
  • Lead Oracle E-Business Suite (eBiz) to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration projects end to end — migration strategy, data extraction/transformation/loading (FBDI), reconciliation, and coexistence planning.
  • Own cutover planning and execution — cutover runbooks, mock cutovers/dress rehearsals, go/no-go criteria, downtime management, and go-live command-centre coordination.
  • Lead post-implementation hypercare — stabilization planning, war-room support, defect triage and prioritization, knowledge transfer to BAU support, and formal exit criteria into steady-state operations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional configurations and technical designs; perform fit-gap analysis and recommend standard-first solutions before customization.
  • Design and build integrations, extensions, and reports using OIC, VBCS, BIP, OTBI, and FBDI, ensuring scalable, supportable, and well-documented solutions.
  • Own production support governance — incident management, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven resolution — for Fusion Finance and Procurement.
  • Evaluate and pilot Oracle AI features for Fusion, including AI Agent Studio, to identify automation and productivity opportunities within Finance.
  • Engage senior business and IT stakeholders, manage vendor/SI deliverables, and mentor techno-functional team members to raise delivery quality.
  • Safeguard data integrity across migrations, interfaces, and period-close processes through robust reconciliation and validation controls.
Must Have
  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong, verifiable delivery track record.
  • Hands-on development and support experience in Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement — including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Procurement.
  • Strong technical proficiency in VBCS, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), BIP Reports, OTBI, and FBDI imports.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion application offerings, features, and configuration across the Finance and Procurement modules.
  • Proven experience in production support — incident management, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience handling Oracle EBS (eBiz) to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration projects, with strong cutover and data migration expertise — migration strategy, FBDI-based conversions, reconciliation, mock cutovers, and go-live execution.
  • Proven track record of post-implementation hypercare — stabilization support, defect triage, incident surge management, and structured transition to steady-state/BAU support.
  • Exposure to both Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including migration or coexistence scenarios.
  • A minimum of two end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations, covering design, build, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders effectively and drive outcomes independently.
Good to Have
  • Broader understanding of Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications (AI Fusion Studio) and embedded Fusion AI/ML capabilities — a strong added advantage.
  • Experience with BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector) for data extraction and warehousing.
  • Background in ADF (Application Development Framework) for Oracle Fusion UI extensions.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript for UI-layer customizations within VBCS.
  • Retail or multi-entity, multi-currency enterprise experience; exposure to Redwood UX personalization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in Financials or Integration (preferred).
