An active in-state pharmacy technician license is required to be<br><br>considered.<br><br>In this role, you will be working within our pharmacy operations, including preparing inventory for Kiosk replenishment, filling prescriptions, and maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy environment. As this role grows, it will expand to include on-the-road responsibilities such as driving from the Pharmacy to our Kiosk locations, refilling inventory, and maintaining Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regionalized areas upon promotion to a Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). You will also be working in the physical Pharmacy location preparing orders for customer shipments.<br><br>#everydaybetter<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment</li><li> Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy</li><li> Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations</li><li> Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packets</li><li> Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications</li><li> Fill exception trays with appropriate medication</li><li> Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense<br><br></li></ul>through quality control<br><br><ul><li> Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items</li><li> Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on<br><br></li></ul>dispenser, shipping boxes<br><br><ul><li> Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time</li><li> Aid the Process Leads, Area Managers, and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping,<br><br></li></ul>counting, and packing<br><br><ul><li> Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas</li><li> Package medications for dispensing and for delivery</li><li> Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business<br><br></li></ul>hours<br><br><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li> During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime,<br><br></li></ul><strong>Flex And Part-time Shifts May Vary)<br><br></strong><ul><li> Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching</li><li> Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight</li><li> Manual dexterity of hands and wrists<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> High school diploma or equivalent</li><li> Must be at least 21 years old</li><li> Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License or ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License through the State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of start date, if required by State Board of Pharmacy</li><li> 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools</li><li> Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.</li><li> Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> National Pharmacy technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)</li><li> Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member</li><li> Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail</li><li> Ability to recognize and identify patient medications</li><li> Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality</li><li> Active and unrestricted in-state driver’s license<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
