The ideal candidate will have experience in blood sample collection and processing, as well as strong technical skills in operating laboratory equipment and performing various tests. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse team.ResponsibilitiesCollect blood samples from patients using proper techniquesLabel and process samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and quality controlPerform various laboratory tests, including blood counts, chemical analyses, and blood typingRecord and report test results accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient informationAssist with inventory management and ordering suppliesRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory TechnicianCurrent certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)Strong technical skills with the ability to operate laboratory equipment and perform various testsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work well in a team environmentAttention to detail with strong organizational skillsPreferred RequirementsPrevious experience working in a hospital or clinic settingKnowledge of medical terminologyWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
