Private Label Manager

Al Safeer Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Private Label Manager to lead the development, sourcing, and growth of our private label brands across multiple supermarket categories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, managing supplier relationships, overseeing product development, and driving profitability through innovative and high-quality private label products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the private label strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development and category expansion.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
  • Manage product development, packaging, branding, and launch activities.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and pricing reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and product quality.
  • Work closely with merchandising, purchasing, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and margins.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in retail, FMCG, private label management, or category management.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of UAE/GCC retail market and consumer trends.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
