Project Manager - Food and Dairy Manufacturing

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>✔ Lead large-scale CAPEX projects from concept development through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover</p><p>✔ Manage multidisciplinary projects including dairy processing equipment, packaging systems, utilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, chillers, refrigeration, steam, compressed air, and facility infrastructure</p><p>✔ Lead project Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) performance, ensuring safe execution, regulatory compliance, effective contractor management, risk mitigation, and the incorporation of sustainable engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p>✔ Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation activities to ensure successful project delivery</p><p>✔ Develop project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and execution strategies while ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timeline objectives</p><p>✔ Manage engineering consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle</p><p>✔ Oversee factory expansion, brownfield modifications, and greenfield developments while minimizing impact on ongoing operations</p><p>✔ Support new production lines, process technologies, and manufacturing capabilities through successful installation and commissioning</p><p>✔ Drive the implementation of automation and digitalization solutions where appropriate, including PLC, SCADA, MES, and Industry 4.0 technologies</p><p>✔ Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, hygienic design principles, local regulations, and international engineering standards</p><p>✔ Provide technical leadership and stakeholder management across operations, engineering, quality, procurement, and executive teams</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><p>✅ Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Food Engineering, or a related discipline</p><p>✅ 8+ years of project management experience delivering industrial or manufacturing CAPEX proj's</p><p>✅ Managing projects involving civil works, utilities, process equipment, packaging systems, and factory infrastructure</p><p>✅ Understanding of water treatment, wastewater treatment, refrigeration, chilled water systems, steam generation, compressed air, and other industrial utility systems</p><p>✅ Delivering projects within dairy, food & beverage, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or other hygienic manufacturing environments</p><p>✅ Success in contractor management, project controls, commissioning, and startup activities</p><p>✅ Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills</p><p>✅ PMP, PRINCE2, APM PMQ, or equivalent project management certification is advantageous</p><p>✅ Knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, hygienic design standards, and food manufacturing best practices is desirable</p><p><br></p><p><strong>📍 Location: Qatar</strong></p>
