Position Overview

The

Remote Medical Data Intake & Entry Specialist

serves as the essential first point of contact for careerzynith’s Utilization Review Department. In this role, you will gather critical patient intake information, create and maintain electronic health records, and facilitate the flow of certification correspondence. Your meticulous attention to detail and courteous communication style will directly support the delivery of high‑quality, cost‑effective care to thousands of members across the country.

Key Responsibilities

    Front‑line Communication:

    Answer calls on the Utilization Review line, triage inquiries, and route callers to the appropriate clinical or administrative team members.

      Voicemail Management:

      Retrieve, log, and forward voicemail messages to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

        Patient Demographic Collection:

        Capture, verify, and enter demographic and insurance information to establish complete, error‑free electronic patient files.

          Document Handling:

          Print, mail, fax, and copy certification correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

            Data Integrity Assurance:

            Perform regular audits of entered data, correct discrepancies, and maintain up‑to‑date records within careerzynith’s proprietary database systems.

              Team Collaboration:

              Assist colleagues with ad‑hoc projects, such as compiling reports, updating procedural manuals, and supporting training initiatives.

                Continuous Improvement:

                Essential Qualifications
