Sales & Application Specialist – Life Sciences / Biotechnology

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Sales & Application Specialist to join our growing Life Sciences and Medical Devices team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting laboratory instruments, molecular diagnostics, life science products, consumables, and related solutions across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, universities, research institutes, testing labs, and pharmaceutical organizations throughout the UAE.

This role combines scientific application support with business development and is ideal for candidates who are passionate about laboratory technologies and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, laboratories, universities, and research institutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and scientific seminars.
  • Provide application support, user training, and troubleshooting to customers.
  • Support instrument evaluations, installations, validations, and product implementation.
  • Collaborate with the sales, service, and marketing teams to maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and submit regular sales reports.
  • Travel throughout the UAE to meet customers and attend exhibitions, conferences, and workshops.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or a related Life Sciences discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Life Sciences, IVD, Medical Devices, Laboratory Equipment, or Biotechnology sales/application support. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory techniques such as PCR, qPCR, ELISA, Molecular Diagnostics, Cell Biology, or related technologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain scientific concepts to laboratory professionals and researchers.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the UAE.
