Salary: AED 18,000 – 22,000 per month tax-free (£3,700 – £4,500 approx.)

Teaching Abroad Direct is currently recruiting for an exceptional Science & STEM Lead / Primary Class Teacher on behalf of a highly innovative educational organisation in Dubai.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading Science and STEM education across primary and lower secondary age groups while also serving as a class teacher within a small cohort-based setting.

The Role

This position is ideal for an experienced Science or STEM specialist who is passionate about inquiry-led learning, project-based education and emerging technologies.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging Science and STEM lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity and problem-solving, while helping students develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts through hands-on learning and real-world application.

The role incorporates a broad STEM focus including:

  • Science education across primary and lower secondary levels
  • Coding and robotics
  • Engineering design and design thinking
  • Project-based learning
  • AI and emerging technology concepts
  • Practical investigations and experimentation
  • Cross-curricular STEM initiatives

Working within very small student groups allows teachers to provide highly personalised support and build meaningful relationships with learners and families.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an educator who can combine strong academic standards with creativity, flexibility and a genuine passion for innovation in education.

Applicants should possess:

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • A degree in Education, Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field
  • At least 5 years' teaching experience in Science, STEM or related subjects
  • Experience teaching primary and/or lower secondary students
  • Strong knowledge of international curricula such as the English National Curriculum, Cambridge or similar frameworks
  • Experience delivering STEM programmes incorporating coding, robotics and technology
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to differentiate learning effectively for individual students
  • A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching
