Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as a host or hostess when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards
- Process all sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or bussing tables during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell and serve guests confidently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures safe and efficient service
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume shifts
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
