Service Advisor (Heavy Equipment & Fleet)
We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Service Advisor to join our Touq Readymix . This role is the critical link between our fleet operations, maintenance workshop, and equipment users, ensuring that our concrete delivery and production machinery stay in peak condition.
The ideal candidate will combine a strong automotive or heavy equipment background with the administrative precision needed to manage maintenance records, track technician efficiency, and minimize production downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily work assignments for maintenance staff, monitor the flow of job orders, and calculate personnel efficiency to boost overall productivity.
- Meet with equipment users to evaluate performance and utilize tracking systems to monitor the real-time status of vehicles and machinery.
- Accurately fill out cost sheets, work orders, and parts requests. Assist in managing the maintenance budget and reducing operational costs.
- Perform technical diagnoses on major user complaints, generate status reports, and assist with hands-on repairs or preventive maintenance (oil changes, lubrication) when required.
- Act as the point of contact for insurance providers to finalize cost estimations for accident repair work; coordinate warranty-related administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure 100% compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) requirements and site-specific safety inductions.
- A solid Automotive or Heavy Equipment background is essential.
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Bodyshop Estimator, or Warranty Administrator.
- Candidates with Dealership experience are highly preferred
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in the maintenance and repair of diverse vehicle types and heavy equipment, including 1 year in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
- Strong mechanical or electrical background with completed technical courses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using Workshop Management Systems or similar tracking software.
