Specialist - Internal Communications Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Industry: Package–Freight Delivery Experience: Professional experience in communications or public relations Job Type: Full-time Salary: 18,000–26,000 (per month; confirm with employer) Overview The Specialist – Internal Communications supports employee engagement across Amazon operations in the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa. The role develops communication campaigns, operational announcements, leadership messages, crisis updates, and localized content for employees working across Amazon Customer Fulfillment and Amazon Transportation Services. This position is suited to a creative and analytical professional who can turn complex operational information into clear, engaging, and actionable content. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute internal communication plans for Amazon operations across the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa. - Partner with regional stakeholders to identify communication priorities, employee information needs, and suitable delivery channels. - Create engaging campaigns that highlight the work, achievements, and experiences of Amazon operations employees. - Prepare communication materials for new programs, workplace policies, organizational changes, and operational updates. - Translate complex business information into clear messages for frontline associates, managers, and corporate audiences. - Manage internal communication channels and maintain accurate publishing schedules. - Review channel performance using readership, engagement, reach, and employee‑response metrics. - Use data and feedback to improve communication timing, content quality, format, and audience relevance. - Identify emerging operational topics, employee concerns, business trends, and communication risks. - Develop timely communication responses for significant issues and changing business conditions. - Support site stakeholders during operational incidents, crises, emergency situations, and other critical moments. - Coordinate internal communication activity during business continuity events and sensitive employee matters. - Work with translation agencies to localize communication materials accurately for regional employees. - Review translated content for clarity, cultural relevance, consistency, and suitability for operational audiences. - Maintain a consistent editorial voice across announcements, campaigns, leadership messages, and employee content. - Integrate Amazon Leadership Principles, business priorities, and workplace values into everyday communications. - Develop stories that recognize employee contributions and demonstrate the impact of fulfillment and transportation teams. - Coordinate with content creators, designers, video‑production teams, and external agencies when required. - Oversee the quality and delivery of visual, written, digital, and video communication materials. - Identify opportunities to simplify communication processes and introduce scalable regional mechanisms. - Maintain communication calendars, editorial plans, approval records, stakeholder briefings, and performance reports. Ideal Profile - Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related discipline. - Professional experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, or public relations. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication plans for large or distributed workforces. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences. - Ability to communicate confidently with frontline employees, operational managers, and senior leaders. - Experience managing external communication, translation, creative, or production agencies. - Proficiency in measuring communication effectiveness through analytics, engagement data, and performance indicators. - Experience using content management systems and digital publishing tools. - Familiarity with graphic design tools and the oversight of video‑production projects. - Strong storytelling ability with an understanding of editorial structure, audience needs, and message clarity. - Capacity to manage several communication projects while responding to changing operational priorities. - Experience working in e‑commerce, retail, supply chain, logistics, financial services, or another large operational environment is preferred. - Knowledge of crisis communications, emergency response, workplace violence prevention, or business continuity practices is advantageous. - Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is preferred. - Fluency in spoken and written Turkish is preferred.<
