Diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of ophthalmic conditions from common refractive errors to complex retinal diseases utilizing advanced diagnostic tools Perform intricate ophthalmic surgeries including cataract glaucoma and retinal procedures with precision and minimal invasiveness Interpret and report on various radiological imaging studies of the eye such as OCT fluorescein angiography and ultrasound identifying subtle abnormalities Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients considering their specific condition medical history and lifestyle Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including other ophthalmologists optometrists and general practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology and radiology through continuous medical education research and professional development Educate patients and their families about their eye conditions treatment options and preventive measures to promote better eye health outcomes Manage and interpret complex ophthalmic imaging data utilizing Picture Archiving and Communication Systems PACS and specialized software Provide expert consultation on challenging ophthalmic cases offering second opinions and guidance to referring physicians Adhere strictly to DHA MOH regulations and hospital protocols ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and ethical practice Possession of a valid DHA/MOH license to practice as an Ophthalmologist or Radiologist in the UAE.A minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience in a reputable healthcare institution.Completion of an accredited medical school followed by a recognized residency program in Ophthalmology or Radiology with a focus on Ophthalmic Imaging.Board certification in Ophthalmology or Radiology is highly preferred.Proficiency in ophthalmic surgical techniques and the interpretation of advanced ocular imaging modalities (OCT, UBM, FFA).Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail in diagnosis and treatment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient interaction and team collaboration.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and ophthalmic diagnostic software.A commitment to lifelong learning and staying current with the rapidly evolving fields of ophthalmology and medical imaging.
