Squarespace Website Designer + Copywriter for Event Rental Business

I’m looking for someone to help redesign and finish my Squarespace website for my event rental business, Rent the Vibe.

I already have the website started, my rental inventory added, Booqable set up for online booking, and a general idea of the pages and content I want. Where I’m struggling is bringing everything together — layout, section order, content writing, colors/fonts, wording, and making the overall site look professional and intentional.

I’m looking for someone who is strong in website design but also understands marketing and customer experience. I don’t want to have to tell you exactly where every section should go or what everything should say. I’d like someone who can look at what I have, understand what I’m trying to accomplish, and make suggestions based on what will look good and help turn visitors into customers.

About the business:

Rent the Vibe offers event rentals including backyard games, inflatables, tables/chairs, canopies, speakers, concessions, photo booth experiences, packages and more. Customers can rent something as simple as a $25 game, but I also want to attract people putting together larger events who may need several different things.

One of my biggest goals is for the website to feel like a place where you can put most of your event together in one spot, and also excite someone who is planning an event. I also want the shopping experience to encourage customers to discover other things they may want to add to their event.

I have/want pages built around different occasions such as birthdays, weddings, baby showers, kids’ parties, corporate events, tailgates, etc. I’d like those pages to have their own colors/imagery to help customers picture their event and shop rentals that make sense for that occasion, while still keeping the overall website cohesive.

The overall brand should feel fun, trustworthy, creative and premium.

Main things I need help with:

- Finishing/redesigning the Squarespace site

- Page and section layout

- Colors, fonts and overall visual consistency

- Website wording/copy and calls-to-action

- Making the site easy to shop and book from

- Creating opportunities to cross-sell related rentals

- Making sure everything looks great on mobile

- Working with my existing Booqable booking system

I’m hoping to have the site completed fairly quickly, so please include your estimated turnaround time and project price.

When applying, I’d also love to see a few websites you’ve personally designed (especially Squarespace, event, rental or e-commerce sites) and hear a little about how you would approach this project.
