UAE National IT Support Coordinator(Emiratization)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled UAE National(With Family book) for IT Support Coordinator to join our client organnization which is a reknown retail Conglomerate. This role is crucial for providing first-line technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure for all internal users. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT services. This position is part of our commitment to Emiratization, fostering local talent within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both remotely and in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and office applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other relevant systems.
  • Respond to IT support requests and incidents in a timely and efficient manner, tracking progress using a helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level IT support or specialized teams, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new workstations and user environments.
  • Conduct routine IT equipment inventory, maintenance, and asset management.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices and system usage.
  • Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and IT procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects as required, contributing to system upgrades, deployments, and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
