This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day’s deliveries.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><i><u>Work Schedule:</u></i> <i> Sunday - Thursday and Friday 5:30 pm until complete</i></span></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><i><u>Salary:</u> $21.41/hour</i></span></p><br /><p><span class="emphasis-2"><u>Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIRED</u></span></p><br /><p><span class="emphasis-2">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p><ul><li>Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.</li><li>Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.</li><li>Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.</li><li>Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.</li><li>Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.</li></ul><p><br /><br /><span class="emphasis-2">QUALIFICATIONS</span><br /><br /><b>Education/Training:</b> High School Diploma or GED preferred.<br /><br /><b>Related Experience:</b> <span class="emphasis-2">A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.</span><br /><br /><b>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: </b></p><ul><li><span class="emphasis-2">Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIRED</span></li><li>Good attention to detail</li><li>Ability to read load diagrams</li><li>Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).</li><li>Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.</li></ul><br /><p><span class="emphasis-2">WORK ENVIRONMENT</span></p><p>Comfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required</p><br /><p>Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
