People Operations Manager, Data & Reporting

Job Description:

  • Own headcount, attrition, and people cost reporting end to end
  • Build executive- and board-level reporting
  • Define people metrics and their meanings
  • Reconcile People and Finance headcount
  • Clean up reporting taxonomies, beginning with termination reasons
  • Identify and resolve data quality problems
  • Build checks to prevent bad data from entering systems
  • Own the employee data model, definitions, and governance
  • Work with the HRIS team to support required reporting
  • Challenge and improve current systems according to the data vision
  • Own US and global benefits administration, renewal cycles, and open enrolment
  • Own employee records, employment verification, and data requests
  • Support the team handling day-to-day employee questions
  • Automate recurring reporting
  • Enable managers and leaders to access their own data
  • Reduce manual reporting requests
  • Produce reporting suitable for audits and external diligence
  • Work with Finance and IT on data controls and evidence
  • Design People Operations systems for future company growth

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of people analytics and reporting experience within fast-paced, scaling environments
  • Meaningful experience delivering people operations solutions across all aspects of the talent journey
  • Experience in HRIS implementation or migration
  • Experience building reports from scratch
  • Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, maintaining high standards for clean, reliable analytics data
  • Effectively communicate data insights, including numerical findings, source methodology, and rationale for discrepancies
  • Write clearly and document by default
  • Experience running operations across multiple countries and entities, including EOR or contractor populations
  • Comfortable across the employee journey, from hire to exit
  • Ability to pick up new tools quickly
  • Experience with Rippling or implementing it preferred as a bonus
  • Experience building reporting in a BI tool or working comfortably in SQL
  • Experience with IPO readiness or SOC 2 and SOX preparation
