Public Health Program Manager – Online Facilitation

Job Description:

  • Provide subject matter guidance to a group of 25-30 undergraduate online students
  • Support students in academic writing, research, and time management
  • Conduct 1:1 sessions for doubt resolution, academic guidance, and assessment draft reviews
  • Guide students toward relevant reference material
  • Mark assessments and provide long-form feedback
  • Manage discussion forums
  • Provide proactive, prompt, and personalised support for student queries and issues
  • Interact promptly with students via email, calls, and online sessions
  • Support a diverse international student body in Masters-level public health programs
  • Apply expertise in public health program management, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Help students apply systems thinking, health equity, and human rights principles to public health initiatives
  • Develop evidence-informed strategies addressing population health needs and improving health outcomes

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of corporate experience and/or teaching experience in relevant fields
  • PG/Doctoral degree with distinction or first-class from a top university in India is stated in the profile
  • Formal teaching experience at a university or college preferred
  • Strong knowledge of public health program management
  • Expertise in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating health programs and projects
  • Knowledge of systems thinking, health equity, human rights in public health, and population health
  • Proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication
  • Empathetic, ambitious, warm, and outgoing personality; willing to work with people from diverse cultures
  • Working laptop required
  • Access to high-speed stable internet connection above 10 MBPS required
  • Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac
  • Availability from 12 pm to 6 pm IST every day of the week
  • Independent contractor status
