<p><strong>Solutions Engineer – WiFi</strong></p><p>Location: <strong>Remote – Must be based in NC, SC, GA, or FL</strong></p><p>Direct Hire role</p><p>US Citizens or GreenCard holders due to nature of project</p><p><br></p><p>No C2C candidates, only W2 candidates</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Solutions Engineer – WiFi</strong> to join a growing engineering team supporting commercial managed WiFi and network deployments.</p><p>This is a hands-on role combining <strong>WiFi/WLAN engineering, network design, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and client support</strong>. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and deploying commercial wireless networks using <strong>Ekahau</strong> and technologies from <strong>Aruba, Ruckus, or Cisco</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, optimize, and review <strong>WiFi/WLAN network solutions</strong></li><li>Create and review <strong>BOMs, SOWs, network designs, and deployment documentation</strong></li><li>Perform WiFi design, surveying, validation, and remediation using <strong>Ekahau or similar tools</strong></li><li>Review <strong>CAD drawings and floor plans</strong> for network and AP placement</li><li>Configure and integrate <strong>wireless APs, switches, routers, firewalls, LAN/WLAN, and IoT networks</strong></li><li>Support commercial WiFi network deployments from design through commissioning and closeout</li><li>Partner with field and construction teams during network installation and integration</li><li>Perform network testing, troubleshooting, optimization, monitoring, and break/fix support</li><li>Analyze network performance data to identify coverage, connectivity, and performance issues</li><li>Provide remote and onsite technical support while meeting customer SLAs</li><li>Serve as a technical SME during customer meetings and project discussions</li><li>Maintain accurate network design and deployment documentation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of relevant <strong>WiFi, wireless networking, or network engineering experience</strong></li><li>1+ year of hands-on <strong>Ekahau or similar WiFi survey/design tool experience</strong></li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>commercial WiFi/WLAN deployments</strong></li><li>Experience configuring and troubleshooting <strong>APs, switches, routers, and network infrastructure</strong></li><li>Practical experience with <strong>Aruba, Ruckus, and/or Cisco wireless solutions</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>routing, switching, WLAN, and LAN technologies</strong></li><li>Experience with network design, <strong>BOM creation, and technical documentation</strong></li><li>Ability to review and interpret <strong>CAD drawings and network design documents</strong></li><li>Experience with WiFi network testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and remediation</li><li>Strong communication and customer-facing skills</li><li>Must currently reside in <strong>North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida</strong></li><li>Ability to travel to customer sites up to <strong>20%</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting <strong>hospitality and/or Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU)</strong> WiFi environments</li><li>Experience with <strong>RGNets, Nomadix, or similar gateway platforms</strong></li><li>Knowledge of <strong>AAA/RADIUS</strong> and network authentication</li><li>Familiarity with network security standards and best practices</li><li><strong>CCNA, CWNA/CWNP</strong>, or vendor certifications from Aruba, Ruckus, or Cisco</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent combination of certifications and relevant experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>We are Connectors</strong>.
